In our SQF certified facility, located in Langley, B.C, we produce nearly 300 products from tart shells, pie shells, pie tops and puff pastry, to fully baked heat-and-serve meat pies and appetizers. Our reputation for quality products and efficient service has become Mark-Crest’s trademark.
We have sales representatives in all provinces west of Ontario and distribute across Canada and into many parts of the continental US.
HISTORY
Mark–Crest Foods Ltd. is a family owned and operated company. It was founded in 1963, by Emil Glukler (seen below circa 1972, third from left back row, with hat). Born in Switzerland, Emil trained as a Pastry Chef and immigrated to Canada in 1953.
Initially, Mark–Crest Foods Ltd. found manufacturing space in the basement of B.C. Ice & Cold Storage and began with a small client base producing frozen tart shells and pizza crusts. From this modest start, the company has expanded to a firm with customers across Canada and in the United States.
